The kid's program that we have been involved in had its final performance for the year yesterday. It was sad, but we all are looking forward to a break before resuming performances in the Fall.

As a thank you to all the participants in the production, we (us plus three other leaders) hosted a "Just Desserts" night. It was our way of saying "Thanks" for all the hard work everyone did over the last year. It was a terrific night and we had a lot of fun.

At the end of the evening, we were surprised with a gift from everyone. They all went in and purchased our stroller and car seat system! This was very gracious of all of them and was greatly appreciated. Below is a picture (notice the Illini orange LOL). Here we wanted them to all feel special and appreciated and they turned it around on us in the end. :) We're very blessed to be a part of such a wonderful church.
